Akkad Pharmacy
Pharmacy software for medicines, expiry dates and the counter
Akkad Pharmacy is an app made for pharmacies. Add medicines from a ready library instead of typing them, sell the box or the strip from one stock, and see which batch expires first before it costs you money.
A pharmacy carries thousands of small items, many of them with an expiry date and two pack sizes. Typing all of that by hand is where most pharmacy software loses people. Akkad Pharmacy starts you from a medicine library, so a search and a tap give you a complete item with its barcodes.
From there it works like the rest of Akkad: one stock that the counter, your online store and your delivery orders all draw from, reports you can read at the end of the day, and permissions so each person on your team sees only their part.
What your pharmacy gets
A ready medicine library
Search by English or Arabic name, or scan the box. One tap creates the item with its pack sizes and barcodes, and items you already stock are marked.
Batches and expiry dates
Receive each batch with its cost and expiry date. The batch that expires first is sold first, and you get an alert before stock expires.
Strip and box from one stock
Sell a single strip or the whole box, each with its own price and barcode, without keeping two stocks that drift apart.
Dosage and active ingredient
Two fields every medicine needs, on the item form, in the Excel import and filled from the library.
A cashier that keeps selling
Scan barcodes, open and close cashier sessions, and keep selling when the internet drops. Sales sync when it comes back.
Suppliers, debts and reports
Purchase orders from your suppliers, customers who pay later, and reports on sales, profit and stock that is about to expire.

Questions
Do I have to type every medicine myself?
No. Search the medicine library by name or barcode and import it. You can also import your existing list from an Excel file.
Does it warn me about medicines that are about to expire?
Yes. Every batch carries its expiry date, the earliest batch is sold first, and the app alerts you before stock expires. A report lists what is close to expiry.
Can I sell by the strip and by the box?
Yes. Both come from one stock, each with its own price and barcode, so selling a strip lowers the box count correctly.
Does it work without internet?
The cashier keeps selling offline and syncs the sales when the connection comes back.
Which devices does it run on?
Android and iPhone, Windows and Mac computers, and any web browser. Your whole team works on the same records.
Can my pharmacy sell online and deliver?
Yes. You can publish an online store for your pharmacy and send orders with the delivery companies Akkad supports in your country.
